Audio Landscape Quadricycle

Audio Landscape Quadricycle is an interactive object connecting kinetic and acoustic experiences. The direction of movement is read by sensors and a computer system, generating sound heard through headphones.
The work is intended as a shared experience for two people: while pedaling and steering with body movements, they hear abstract generative sound collages that constantly react to motion.
The piece was first shown in 2008 at the Vilnius Academy of Arts MA graduation exhibition at Vartai Gallery. In 2021 it was presented in Media: Lithuanian Media Art Retrospective at the National Gallery of Art in Vilnius.
